Ex-Palin spokesman says prof “in service of evil”

Not to mention that McAllister calls Professor Scharlott a “scumbag.”

What a classic example of Palinists turning a non-event (an unpublished academic paper not yet even in final form and sent to McAllister by Professor Scharlott only as a courtesy) into another colossal embarrassment.

Typical…but McAllister never denies the hoax, only that he wasn’t complicit in it.

  • GinaM:

LOL…yes….gotta love the Palinists…”the Gang that can’t shoot straight”.

  • Ottoline Lyme:

Name-calling, threats of violence (even if it’s just a comical slap), and other evidence of anger that this subject is about to be scrutiinzed do nothing to change the facts that the good professor has brought up.

  • True Blue Girl:

Actually, this is a very appropriate topic for an academic in his particular field to pursue. These are the kinds of questions routinely explored within journalism schools, or even more broadly, communication programs. That’s the thing about academics: the questions have merit in their own right, whatever the ultimate outcome: hypothesis, data, interpretation or narrative outcome.

This is an obvious question for journalism analysis; there was a time when Poynter would have taken it up, or the Columbia Journalism Review. Heck there was a time when we’d see this in a Sunday “think piece” but those days are long gone, sad to say.

Oh honestly? Is that the current screed?

Sarah Palin appears to be desperately seeking popularity. She has tanked / her approvals continue to drop (except for her compatriot mentally ill population).

I was hoping she’d just go away and collect money from idiots. McAllister sounds like someone who has gotten his hand caught in her cookie jar?

Unleashing of the hounds, stage right… exit, stage left…

  • BanditBasheert:

Not to belabor the point, but “Sarah who????”

  • msf:

Love it, the Palinistas only believe in their freedom of speech, which is a distortion or outright lie & when they are questioned they act like ugly little dictators. What silly bullies. This certainly did land back in McAllister’s face. He looks like an utter fool. Is he a distant cousin of Sean Parnell? So many similarities.

  • Is the throwing of cans at the refrigerator anger management?

  • BanditBasheert:

    Let’s be realistic here.
Palin is a Dominionist – politically she is AIP. She’s a walking freakshow of stupidity and wacko beliefs.

On the other hand, having your own personal Witch Doctor Murthee (sp) probably gives you a real insight into “evil”.

Once again Sarah’s rock has met her hard place.
