How About a Big Hand for the Easter Funny Bunny…

Really, during this slow political season, who has done more to inject fun and games into our lives than Donald Trump?

Who knew he had a sense of humor?

But he’s carried it off with élan and aplomb: to the extent where people who make their living by being serious
seriously think he’s running for president. Or at least say they do so they have something to say.

My only question is whether he’s going to reveal the hoax first to Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.

Just when we thought we’d never see anyone more ludicrous than Sarah, along comes the Donny Boy, hair aflame.

Do you know why I believe in God? Because only He could have created Republicans for us to laugh at.

    LOL, Joe!

I still think that Roger Ailes is simply calling in a favor from The Donald & Trump is aiding in the ex-communication of our girl Sarah at Fox. Out with the old, in with the new–they’re just swapping one bad wig for another.

Really. It seems like she appears only about 3 times a month on Fox. She makes a nice amount of money for not contributing. I wonder how the others feel who work everyday.

  • Neil:

I suspect the only problem with your premise is these jackasses get elected and when they do they take out their nuttiness on the rest of us.Can you imagine president Trump or president Palin?Scary beyond words.

  • Lainey:

why is this story being dragged out like a soap opera?…if they have something, spill it already! we can handle the scandal all at once…I don’t care if sarah likes it or not!

joe I have also wondered if this whole birther thing by trump is a hoax. but then I see how serious he is about it and wonder if he’s just insane. I don’t know what to believe.

John Stewart: “So Donald, you’ve got the Republicans in a cold sweat with their knickers in a knot, what’s it going to be – are you running?”

Donald Trump: “Well, to tell you the truth John, I’ve got more important things to do and I’m way too big for the presidency.”

John: “So this whole is-he-or-is-he-not running thing was just a publicity stunt?”

Donald: “More like a public service”

John: “A selfless act?” And that service would be …………”

Donald: “Too many crazies takin’ over the party – look at that lying Sarah Palin and that dipshit Bachman – somebody had to be the one to take them out – who better than me?” The party will thank me for it – and they’re gonna owe me big time.” “Don’t worry, I won’t let them forget it.”

John: “There you have it folks, Donald Trump, altruist”

There are two schools of thought among Birthers: 1) that Obama was born in Kenya, which would require proof that his mother was in Kenya in August 1961, of which there is none, not even circumstantial; or 2) that Obama was born in Hawaii, but that by moving to Indonesia and using his step-father’s name at school he lost his US citizenship and is therefore ineligible to be president.

I don’t think Trump is faking his newfound belief in the Birther conspiracy. I think he is reading Phil Berg and other “birther” bloggers and lawsuits about the case and imagines he could be out in front of this story. When the evidence does not pan out (as it likely won’t), he’ll just stonewall about it, as he did in interviews promising to “wait and see.”

They certainly are a clown troupe. The rest of us are concerned about jobs, healthcare, and the state of the economy, while they go after the “socialist, Muslim, usurper.” He isn’t perfect but I’ll take the usurper any day over the posse of Republican dopes prancing about on the stage now. I don’t care if he was born on Mars.
