Sarah back in her Element Tomorrow: Colorado Christian University

In the afterglow of her chock-full-o-celebrities weekend in Washington, and hard on the heels of her $115,000 speech at a junior college in California today, Sarah will be back among her own kind tomorrow at Colorado Christian University.  From the CCU website:

“What We Believe”

Colorado Christian University unites with the broad, historic evangelical faith rather than affiliating with any specific denomination. In this commitment, the University embraces the following declarations of the National Association of Evangelicals:

We Believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We Believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We Believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We Believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sarah will be joined by retired Lt. Gen. William G. “My God can beat up your God” Boykin.

Boykin’s long list of flagrant offenses against decency and democracy is itemized in the “Controversies” section of his Wikipedia profile.

Boykin’s presence on stage tomorrow will make Sarah’s appearance at Colorado Christian one of those rare occasions when she might not be the nuttiest person in the room.

How about a Palin-Boykin Evangelical Third Party ticket in 2012?

While we’re on the subject Joe, I’d like to know where in the bible it covers cosmetic surgery for those christian women that are subservient to their men – and why everything in palin’s world (and now bristol) is created with a scapel to create a stepford wife look, a fake platform of family values where husband is sharing the palin “love one another” message with prostitutes and the unmarried daughter that has produced at least 2 babies imo – what christian messages can we gain from her next speech? I know I’m on a rant and my sentences run the risk of being palinized here…but I really want to know why “christians” are all about everything they are not?? C’mon!! Palin should be spending time with her daughter to counsel her on the troubling behavior she has displayed as a byproduct of the christian values in that family. Oh, forget it. I’m just so tired of all of them. What a horrible, horrible family mess they are.

My dog is more of a Christian than Sarah Palin.

And if that “university” has hate and war mongering bigots like Palin and Boykin speaking there, I think that they should have to remove the word “Christian” from their letterhead. It’s false advertising.

Sickening. I’m reaching the point now where I don’t even laugh at her – it just activates my gag reflex. She serves as a kind of ipecac.

Please. Somebody finally open this woman’s closet and let those skeletons fall out. I beg you.

    COntinuing on…

I’ve wondered about Sarah’s relationship with Greta and her husband. I find it quite odd. My very fundamentalist christian mother would never befriend a scientologist as most fundies consider scientology a cult. Maybe they recognize some major scientology traits in Sarah and Todd?? One way scientologists silence their critics is by lies and intimidation.

  • KatieAnnieOakley:

    Exactly.

Scientologists are always accusing their critics: “What are your crimes?” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocw90W44Boc It is a “religion” rife with accusations, condemnations and justifications; and ONLY through Scientology may you find ture Thetan happiness.

Todd did the same thing to Hawk Pierce in the airport video; not the same phrase, but the method was the same: Getting up into his face and saying “Why are ya shaken?” over and over.

Just shows everyone that fascism is alive and well in the good old US.

  • Pam:

Why don’t Christians worry about their own families and their failures and leave the rest of us alone.

  • Pam:

The palins believe in fame and fortune and plastic surgery and are complete phonies.

  • shandee:

I agree but I do wonder why her fundie base doesn’t question the relationship with Greta and John Coale.

  • FrostyAK:

Xtain Dominionism is alive and well in America and is spreading, even in the military.

“When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross.” – well it’s already got it’s foot quite far into the house. This is not the same country this oldster grew up in…

What I find interesting as a Colorado native is that this Christian College has seemingly sprung up out of nowhere. It certainly is not a well known educational institution, at least to us locals.

Ugh! This is the closest I’ve ever been to Her Heinous. Must you befoul our clean, crisp mountain air, Sarah? On second thought, why not travel up the road a bit and visit Boulder. Something tells me your reception won’t be as warm as you’d like it to be. There’s a good chance you’d get boo’d walking down the street, although if I saw you, I’d just point and laugh… really loudly.

This is how the New York Times begins its obituary for Osama bin Ladin:

“Osama bin Laden, who was killed in Pakistan on Sunday, was a son of the Saudi elite whose radical, violent campaign to recreate a seventh-century Muslim empire …”

Sarah Palin is joined at the hip with fundamental Christianists who want to recreate American culture into their own weird theocracy.

    Separation of Church and State!!!!
