Tornadoes Kill, Wreak Havoc in Massachusetts, State of Emergency Declared: Will Sarah Palin Care?//UPDATE: Oslo’s Okay!

Tornadoes ripped through central/western Massachusetts just south of where I live today.

I was out and about and came home to find my wife prudently taking cover in our basement.

Our twelve-year old Norwegian elkhund, Oslo, was out when the storms hit and we still can’t find him.

Yet we were spared. Look at what happened in Springfield and surrounding towns.

As The New York Times reports, at least four were killed and damage was horrendous.

The Sarahbus en route from New York to Boston made it through unscathed, as did the media scrum following in its wake.

The question now is whether Sarah will change her itinerary in order to “comfort” victims here, as she did in Alabama last month.

Two reasons why I doubt it:

1) Sarah could never win our state’s electoral votes.

2) Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Pursestrings’ film crews are not on hand to record her offering a helping hand, as they were a month ago in Alabama.

No doubt, she’ll continue on to New Hampshire tomorrow, for her seashore clambake with Republican leaders there.

That’s okay. We don’t need her or Graham’s religious-right wing “charity,” whose purse strings go both ways (mostly emptying directly into his pocket.)

Maybe Sarah’s dad, Chuck Heath, could use his tracking skills to help us find Oslo, who ran into the woods behind our house at the first sound of thunder, but that’s okay, too.

I have no doubt the old boy will make it back home on his own, once he knows the storms have passed.

But we get hit with tornadoes for the first time in decades, just when Sarah’s bus is passing through?

Please, Sarah:  stay away from my back yard and I promise I’ll never move in next door to you again.

Also, take mercy on poor little Piper and don’t drag her along on the next leg of your “family vacation” from hell.

UPDATE:

OSLO turned up this morning, wondering where his breakfast was.  Seems none the worse for wear.  Had no comment on where he’d spent the night.  Thanks from Nancy and me to all of you who so graciously expressed such concern.

No cause she is too busy cleaning up her own natural disaster.

The video above of Palin trying to get Piper to apologize, the one where Sarah handed out flowers PAY CLOSE ATTENTION EVERYONE Piper walks out, she is holding flowers she is unhappy at her mom shaking everyone’s hand, Piper is heading toward the parking garage when Sarah runs to reporters.

    Right you all saw that.

NOW CHECK OUT THE NEW VIDEO OF THE SAME EVENT BEING LINKED AT C4P that they say shows Piper happy with reporters, being funny, having a good time. They even excitedly mention, “Be sure to watch to the end for an interview with Piper Palin!”

    http://www.therightscoop.com/palin-my-family-doesnt-need-to-be-tested-with-a-bus-tour/

At the beginning of the clip it is the same scene as the apology one EXCEPT THIS TIME Sarah is holding the flowers as they walk through the door, Piper is holding a water bottle PIPER’S HAIR IS PULLED UP IN A BUN IN THE BACK when before it was down OMIGOD THEY RESTAGED THE ENTIRE scene later so Piper would be seen smiling for the reporters talking happily. Not only this watch as Sarah starts to shake the hands of the EXACT SAME GUYS IN LINE AS SHE DID IN THE FIRST VIDEO. They are the exact same guys in the same line up minus the first guy she shook hands with and added another. The rest are the same guys, in the same exit.

Please for those who can copy these videos immediately before someone deletes or alters them and get them viral fast!!!

  • Kristina:

Sarah has a heart. She feels, bleeds, and sympathizes like you and me.

  • Don'tHatetheGame:

I just finished mentioning this on Joe’s other blog about the Statute of Limitations! You are absolutely right. Gryphen had the original film–hopefully he can get this new one. Great catch!

  • Don'tHatetheGame:

God gave up on the doors she kept slammin’ through, he sent a tornado this time and what did she do?

  • Carrie:

Great observation and questions, as usual. Please keep us updated on your dog, Joe. Thanks.

  • Kimberly:

I posted links on IM too not knowing if Joe might not get a chance to check his blog tonight. Many questions are raised who knew in the media, are they the same from the previous experience and interview? Did they cooperate in the staging of this fraud Piper interview. Is Sarah so lame to believe someone would not have discovered her reinventing of Piper?

  • Lynn:

Are you sure thats the same time of day? The flowers are different, in one video one’s white and the other one’s yellow. And she has that bag in the second video, like thats when they checked out.And in the second one, there’s no bald dude by the pillar. Oh, AND in the first one, she says “we’ll maybe see you over at the statue” and in the second, not only does Piper talk about what they just saw, Sarah says she now has to talk to her bosses.

This is before and after their ellis/liberty island excursion.

  • may:

Sarah may stop in MA for a photo op. That is all she did in Al. She is one crazy woman and Todd must be just as crazy.

  • Bob:

I was just wondering if anybody knows if there are staff photographers and/or videographers on this ego trip? Is this all being captured for some awful overpriced coffee table book – “Sarah Palin’s Freedom Ride.” Or video for future campaign adds? To give the forthcoming movie an ending? There must be a point here somewhere. Right?

    Right?

  • FEDUP!!!:

Well, NOW that you bring it up, she will be shamed into responding responsibly, I guess…

  • Freesia:

I’m so sorry Joe. I hope Oslo comes home soon. My father 20 years after not knowing about where his dog went still grieves and I wish a much better ending for you. Surely he’s just taken cover and is afraid to come out. Dog’s do this and they pick up on weather before it actually strikes. Please keep the people who post here updated. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I stopped and froze reading that. How unimportant all this political stuff is when you don’t know where your buddy is.

But as to your question? No. She won’t care. And it wouldn’t matter if she did pretend to care. It would only be an act. The only anyone Sarah cares about is Sarah. The most merciful thing she could do is not insult you by stopping and preening for the cameras. I hope she has enough decency in some hidden cell of her body to just…keep driving.

    Glad you’re safe.

  • msf:

Well, she could have fooled me. Many of us here are parents & our hearts go out to see such devastating disappointment & betrayal written all over a young girl’s face.

  • curious:

The video of the tornado on the water was really frightening. Here in MN, Minneapolis just got smashed last week. The deaths in MA today mean this is the deadliest year for tornado’s in decades. Very scary for you folks out there. Worse, the Paylin is in town

  • Marie:

Joe, I am glad your family is ok and I will pray that Oslo comes home soon. He needs his best human buddy.

  • may:

Sarah has no feelings for anyone . Sarah only wants to promote herself. She uses her poor kids for political and financial gain. Piper really looks miserable on this trip.Poor kid needs to be with friends having a good time.

  • maddie:

Joe I live in Alabama and about eight tornadoes came with in a quarter of mile from my house. It is a very bad experience and I had no damage. There were people all around me that lost everything and several deaths. I am sorry that MA is having to go through this horrific ordeal. I hope you find your dog. Sorry Sarah is in your state. She was in Al but I heard only about 30 minutes.

  • Nefer:

I so hope Oslo comes home soon, Joe. I still miss my Norwegian Elkhound, Elkie (while we debated a name, she started answering to the ah, unimaginative “Elkie”). She was my best buddy for 16 years, a sweet, wonderful dog.

  • B:

Please tell us as soon as Oslo comes home.

  • msf:

Yes, our big dog buddy just passed away recently & now I’m worried sick about Oslo. It does put things into proper prospective.

  • Me:

Please update on Oslo. We are sending good dog karma.

  • AKPetMom:

I don’t believe in god, but if I did, I’d think he was pissed and throwing down a major challenge to her in the wake of all of her lies and deceitfulness. On that note, I really hope that you find Oslo. There are things much more important in our lives than the Palin. I have 4 of the canine variety staring at me right now, wanting their dinner.

  • SusanC:

Again, here’s the video of the tornado hitting the Connecticut River in Springfield:

    https://tinyurl.com/3o9ketb

We’ve had better days in these parts. I hope Oslo gets home safe and sound. Dogs are remarkable.

  • Marie:

If Sarah shows up, it will be for a photo op only which would fit very nicely into her not a campaign photo album.

  • Lisabeth:

Sarah is a narcissist. I will leave the diagnosis of psychopath to others because I’m not a shrink. But many call her that. Narcissists are incapable of true empathy towards others and also incapable of true honest introspection. I have never seen Sarah ONCE apologize for something she has done. She appears incapable of thoughtful self-analysis. Sorry, people like this don’t have a heart. I don’t see her as a warm genuine human being. She certainly didn’t have much empathy for native Alaskans when she was governor. There are many other examples. If you have proof of things she has done showing ” heart.” please list them.
You won’t, because you can’t. Bringing cookies to people starving without heating fuel doesn’t count. Nor does showing up in Haiti for photos to collect money for Sarahpac.
I find it very odd that you come here and on other blogs to post. Do you really think your shallow insincere tweets change anyones mind? Most readers here have watched her in action for several years or more. Your syrupy spin does nothing to improve our view of Sarah, but it sure reinforces our idea of cultish, worshipping Palinbots

  • Lisabeth:

Elkhounds are great dogs! I hope he comes home soon! I lived in Massachusetts for years and never saw tornadoes! Strange! I hope not too many are hurt.

  • What heart? The way she treated the Native Alaskans when they had a harsh winter and had to make a choice of either food or fuel (in Geoffrey Dunn’s book) for the family clearly showed she was heartless and bringing cookies was an insult.

  • Susan:

Let me also add my hopes that Oslo returns home soon, and in good shape. If he’s like the Norwegians I know, he is durable and determined.

Mother nature is trying to get our attention.

  • Anonymous By Choice:

Hmmmmm do you think this article 96 questions for cult followers is a) very paranoid or b) containts important questions or c) insults many.

    Namaste

  • SusanC:

Sorry, I messed up the url for the tornado video. It should be:

    http://tinyurl.com/3o9ketb

  • Kimberly:

Well, interesting observations. I counter with a few ponderments.

I assume hours apart transpired from the first to the last video if they are of Palin’s leaving to the Statue of Liberty and later leaving the hotel. Same guys on duty, lined up in the same order is like WTF but to go beyond that, the two flowers are the exact same style just one of the two is slightly different colored in each video. What is the reason that twice in the same day Piper or Sarah is carrying only two of the same flower out the same door? Crazier things have happened but that is weird similarity. Especially since no one else leaving has flowers in their hand. Maybe someone can call to find out if it was a flower give away day to the Palin’s only.

Suspicious, in the first video when they were supposedly leaving to Liberty Piper was already moody, walking away from apologizing, upset with reporters. She is seen later http://features.rr.com/photo/01k777R3Uwbxv still pissy at Liberty with her hair down which is the same as in the video when she was “Leaving” to go on a tour of Ellis Island etc..

When Piper walks through the door (To Leave again), the video where Piper’s hair is up. She suddenly forgives the camera people who are ruining her family’s vacation to smile and chat him up? Nah. But lets say she got lunch, a nap, got her hair done she was jolly. That good humor did not last long because in that same linked video from C4P Piper is mad all over again at reporters talking to her mom in the SUV. Her hair is up like when she left. Funny this is, check out up until 1:20 in the C4P linked video Piper is in the SUV between her mom and grandma, Chuck is in the front all buckled up but when Piper starts making mad faces they kick her out of the SUV with them continuing the rolling Palin’s interview as nothing has happened.

Piper disappears after time 1:20. So are we to believe the girl went from angry to angrier to happy to mad all caught in video and in pictures yet when she is out of the SUV on her own seemingly since the adults are still in the SUV not one person got her on film?

This event was staged. Everything about that C4P video is staged, sliced. Another Palin lie.

  • Beth deris:

I really hope Oslo comes home, things like this make me sad. No” The Insect” won’t care about the people in Springfield. Just look at the agony on Pipers face today, how can a parent not care for their children and not want to see them happy. It’s always about Sarainsect. She reminds me of a tick, attached blood sucker. Shes caused so much hatred in our country just the most unbelievable person since Hitler. It’s so much easier to be liked, why does someone do things to be hated?
One good thing out of all of this even if it does sound catty. Sarah looks just like Chucky and that is scary. We’re looking at a Sarah Chucky in 5-10 years.

  • sallyngarland,tx:

I am really sorry about the tornado in MA and all the others this season. I grew up in Wichita Falls, Tx – Tornado alley and can’t count the number of times i had to do tornado drills or go in the closet to avoid one or into the hall at school and get on my knees and cover my head and have been in a few. My grandmother and aunt lost their homes in a tornado.

Tornadoes are very sad and devastating and emotionally wounding as well as physically –and terrifying.. Please be careful. everyone and always heed the warnings
    .
Joe, I know I can donate to Red Cross and the usual groups and I will. But, if you hear of a place( shelter, school, church, group, person, etc) that is especially in need, could you maybe pass it on? I can’t do much but I can send something.

  • g:

    Hope you find Oslo!

  • Melly:

I’m from Longmeadow. Never a tornado in the 18 years I lived in Pioneer Valley.

  • Freesia:

Go to bed Sarah. (“Kirstina”) Or is this Rebecca Mansour trying to get back into Sarah’s good graces after her Twitter faux pas? More likely. Sarah’s too lazy to type herself.

Go to bed. Go away. Go to…you know where. You groteque fraud.

  • Freesia:

I’m sorry your boy is gone. Sincerely. I was in your shoes awhile back. It’s still feels like it happened this morning. Always will I think.

How kind you are to focus on Joe’s friend . And you’re right. It puts it all in proper perspective.

  • Freesia:

    Thank you.

  • Elkhounds are very instinctive, protective animals with lovely character traits. I’m guessing Oslo has a ‘friend’ close by he ran off to check on. I had an all black elkhound named Grizz who disappeared once and when finally he came home he was barking and circling like Lassie and wouldn’t stop.

So I followed him several blocks to a pile of lumber and inside was a sandy-red German Shepherd sporting a half dozen jet-black puppies. She was not well and too weak to move on her own. It took two of us to climb through the pile to retrieve her and her pups. Grizz had stayed by her side during the birthing apparently, only coming to fetch me when things went pear-shaped for his mate.

I’d like to think Oslo is out there protecting someone and will come bounding home when the cirsis has passed.

Tornadoes are frightening. To think we actually have tornado ‘seasons’ is just insane. Candles are lit and sending good thoughts and energy your way. Please take care – hugs to both you and yours – Oz.

  • Kimberly:

One last off topic, check out this video from CNN of Piper. Now repeat again the video of Piper engaging a reporter was not a set up 🙂 Total fraud down to the flowers and hotel staff shaking of hands IMO meant to be spliced later for a better video op.

The child did not go from this http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/offbeat/2011/06/01/moos.piper.pipes.up.cnn.html# for several days to running up to a camera.

  • Heidi3:

Joe – I am in tears about your missing Oslo, but have high hopes for his safe return. The same thing happened to us in Decatur, GA (Atlanta). Our big boxer mix Milo smashed out through a dining room window during a horrific storm (the tornado touched down in Buckhead) while we stupidly were at a late party, but he returned home unscathed after 2 days! Please, please give us an update when you have any news.

I have fond memories of eating the best Boston clam chowder in a Springfield restaurant many years ago. Do you have suggestions as to charities in that area that can help these devastated people? Many of us would gladly contribute. And regarding Sarah, I’d say YES, God has spoken. I heard the door slam shut clear out here in California. She has always left a swath of human misery in her wake because she is evil personified.

  • Debby:

Praying that Oslo makes a safe return and sending you peace and calm as you wait for him.
There is nothing that compares to the human/animal bond. And my heart hurts at your separation. May you be reunited quickly.
    Please do let us know.
    Debby

  • Heidi3:

Floyd Orr’s questions may insult some, but they most definitely needed to be asked, and were a long time coming. He, among many of us, can hardly conceive of – but is surmising – what the agendas of each blog might be, and the forces fueling them. There is not published general agreement on the Babygate issue amongst them or the book authors. It is truly astounding, unfortunate, and maddening.

To date, his book Paradigm Shift: The Palin Matrix is the only one which presents the issue most accurately and forthrightly, in his 70-page chapter “Babygate”. As for Joe’s The Rogue, I (and we) have high hopes about how he’ll approach the subject, including the psychopathy involved. But the fact is, as I’ve finally had to admit after three long years of this, Babygate probably won’t sound the death knell for Sarah. Outrageous as it is, there are other things out there that are even bigger that will be her ultimate (jailable?) downfall.
Thanks Ailsa, for the link below to Floyd’s article at “naifs”.

  • Heidi3:

Sorry – the link to Floyd Orr’s article is above my comment.

  • Heidi3:

One more thing: I was remiss by not mentioning the excellent contributions of Prof. Brad Scharlott. His treatise, as well as the infantile response by AK’s Bill McAllister, was what finally got Babygate, and the media’s culpability in the charade, out to the forefront.

  • carollt:

I hope your Oslo is home by now Joe. The skies were looking pretty scary all across New England yesterday.

Politico is reporting this morning that a funnel cloud was nearby as Sarah’s bus passed through Worcester. Welcome to New England Sarah – I guess God gave you his welcome as well. Now go home, wherever that home may be (wishful thinking on my part).

  • Joyce:

    Listen Kristina:
You must not be from Alaska, otherwise, you would know that Sarah has no heart; she does not take anyone’s feelings into account when her vindictiveness is stomping on them; she does not empathize with anyone; for all I know, she probably doesn’t bleed like you and me; and, she definitely does not sympathize with ANYONE. Sarah only cares about Sarah, and she represents everything that is wrong with our world today. If there is no photo op in it, she’s not interested. Frankly, I don’t know what her family, history, self-promotion, blah, blah, blah trip is about anyway. She hasn’t stayed in one historical site long enough to learn anything – she blows into each town, jumps out of the bus, gets her photo-op in, chats with the press a couple minutes, she’s even begging people to have their photo taken with her and to give them her autograph (you used to have to pay for that autograph – remember? You had to buy two books, not one, just to get her autograph so her books sales would go up).

  • ManxMamma:

I hope Oslo is home safe and sound now. Although it seemed unlikely anything would happen here in Boston, I’ve never seen a sky quite like the one last night. I’m extremely unhappy that the Palin clown bus is in my town today. They can’t leave too soon.

  • Tewise:

Mr. McGinniss did Oslo come back, if not I hope he returns soon?

  • Anne:

Please keep us updated on Oslo. Very scary.

  • Jeanabella:

Joe, sorry to hear Oslo is missing & will come back to hear good news.

We live on North Shore of Boston and I grew up in the North End and had a bar and restaurant there in the 70’s. We’ve had crazy weather here at times, but I don’t remember tornado weather.

As for Palin caring about our state, Ha! She is a media whore and it shows big time!
As for the do-over video, how embarrassing. She really thinks she can fool people.
Baileys book describes her do over walking for the camera when she broke campaign finance laws. It’s her MO.
She hasn’t changed. It’s like her RV, still the same but with a new “thin skin”.

  • Can you do an Oslo update?

  • lilly lily:

This is insane. Remember Bailey and the restaged scene he writes about with Sarah P. going through the doors over and over till they got the shot they wanted.

The “I am a media whore” , Mrs babble mouth Palin, is rewriting her history tour to make it palatable for her bots and fans. The new version is SOOOO ADORABLE. Cute Piper isn’t the feral child of the original film, but transformed by Sarah Magic into the obediant and mannerly spawn of the great hook jawed Salmon Queen, both swimming upstream to a clam bake with the big money boys and girls. If Piper really isn’t, why they will make sure Piper seems like she is.

Now that is a great ending to any book about Palin and her scams.

If any press is co-operating they should be stripped of their credentials. We know Faux does this on a regular basis. Perhaps Joes friend Ailes helped set this up. Are they Faux news photographers and reporters?

This has to go viral on the net.

  • lilly lily:

This reminds me of an old film where a wife finds her husband in bed with another woman. He dismisses his paramour and calmly dresses completly telling her, “do you believe me or your lieing eyes?” I think Joey Bishop plays the philandering spouse who expects his wife to turn a blind eye to his cheating on her.

Just so Sarah Palin knows her devoted cult will believe her, and not the lieying eyes who saw the first film of the event.

    LOL.

This is rich, really rich stuff. I couldn’t make it up even if I tried very, very hard.

  • lilly lily:

Our little Sarah is human and bleeds like you and me”, troll returns.

I think she is alien spawn myself.

    A sociopath.

    A dangerous sociopath.

  • grammy97:

Lilly lily, there’s also some staging/re-staging going on in that famous photo of $arah with an obvious belly. The photo, as Audrey originally posted it on Palin’s Deceptions, had an August 2008 time stamp. But the woman who claimed to have taken the photo swore that it should have been in April, before TriG was born.

$arah Palin is an actress. Not a good one, either.

  • msf:

Frank Orr wrote a damn good book & I do appreciate that he did not play games with what he knew & thought. I wonder if many in Alaska, the media, authors could have prevented this fiasco if they had spoken out sooner. I realize that Alaska politics is a hot bed of corruption but still. I am convinced that Babygate will not be the gold ring. It’s probably not illegal…just psycho. If it had reached the media sooner…or at all…it certainly would have made sane people wonder. Not the Bots……they are hopeless that’s why I don’t understand why many go to their sites so often. I just find it aggravating & there is so much to be aggravated about these days.

  • lilly lily:

I feel like Michael Corleone in the Godfather. “Every time I leave this(Palins crazy behavior) pulls me back in.”

I feel like I am watching a medieval Morality Play in Real Time.

I do think “What is happening here, what is worth destroying your own children for? What is she doing?” She has plenty of money now. And her child, her favorite child is being twisted like a pretzel for her petty ambitions. Lie, lie, and lie some more, that is all you have every done from childhood on. And Bristol too has gone down that road. Track took himself off that particular trajectory with the aid of Britta Hanson, who does seem to have some true values. Willow is lost to her anger and entitlements. Now Piper has been used, and while Palin might consider it valuable to her own image as a caring mother to her cult following, all she is projecting is her lack of any values as a parent.

This is a turning point whether she realized it or not. She has thrown Piper under the bus.

  • lilly lily:

How brave of Curtis Menard when he warned her (knowing how vindictive she was) and tried to turn her behavior around to behave like a caring parent and not the self absorbed, ambitious witch that she truly is under her smiling veneer of sexuality and charm.

It is all me, me, me with Sarah Palin. What is in it for me. We see what is in it for her. And now it is more and more apparent what is in it for her puppet masters who fund her talks and career. A complete con.

The Devil in Sarah Palin. Metaphorically speaking of course.

I will always wonder how the water got into the last can of gas used in Curtis Menards plane. The water which caused his plane to crash and his death shortly thereafter. This from a meticulously careful pilot.

  • Psalm023:

I feel the same contempt for these money-making schemers (Franklin Graham) in the guise of “christian” who support people like Trump and Palin. And, Sarah’s bus tour, where she doesn’t seem to show she has a care in the world, smiling, grinning from ear to ear on camera, while people’s worlds are crashing down around them.

She whisks in and out of towns on her fast-food tour like a celebrity, and has no awareness of what others’ reality is. I agree, she won’t pass a glance at the tornado site, UNLESS her staff make an announcement and know there’ll be cameras there. I wonder if they had plans to go to Springfield, in light of the Basketball Hall of Fame being there.

So sorry to hear of your dog. Hope he’s found.

  • lilly lily:

A neighbors Norwegain Elkhound is a feisty and resourceful animal. I’m sure your own is also. I hope he comes home soon, now that all the horrible noises are gone.

The Star Ledger reporter in New Jersey who covered the visit to the “STATUTE” of Liberty, heard Palin ask why didn’t the reporters ask her about the site instead of personal stuff. As he wryly states, there are staff who do that quite well.

He also comments that Piper was attempting to herd the reporters, and stiff armed him. Will have to reread his wording. He comments that maybe when Piper is 20 she will think about why her mother travels with this sheet wrapped bus if she wants some privacy.

Everyone is supposed to accept Sarah Palins version of Reality, and put their brains in the freezer while in her presence. Sarahs World is not mine, or anyones who isn’t brain washed and giddy from her charisma.

  • lilly lily:

Incidently the opinion peice writer from the N.J. Star Ledger suggested to Palins advance man to find a water park for Piper. That Piper needed a water park break. The advance man said so did he.

She comments how miserable Piper looked. How she strong armed her even though she wasn’t close to mom. Piper needs to be taken away to enjoy her 9 or 10 year old life and some summer fun and games.

Not this freak show as one of moms props.

  • Chris:

Does anyone in AZ or where ever have a pic of Scarah in Prescott wearing her cowboy hat last Friday night? Apparently she went out on the town.

    http://crosscut.com/blog/crosscut/20343/Sarah-Palin%2C-trying-on-Arizona/

“Courthouse Square was swarming with partying locals, the motorcyclists, and tourists Friday. Sighted in the crowd was immigration tough guy Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpayo, up from Phoenix. Then lights and TV trucks materialized. There was Sarah Palin, wearing western gear, including an expensive cowboy hat. She recently bought a new place in North Scottsdale. She proceeded up a stairway to one of the town’s famous saloons and began pumping hands.”

  • Chris:

Also too, she screwed up in Prescott, she signed a mayor petition for an upcoming election, hugged the person running in the election, who plans to use the pic against her opponent who happens to be a tea party fav, ho ho ho…….Sarah does it again.

It’s explained in the link I just posted.

  • lilly lily:

Sarah has Willow in lock down according to the Daily Mail in England. She will home school Willow, and keep her under wraps so she doesn’t embarrass her mother and spoil her family credential bonafides?

According to the story, Bristol will take in her sister as soon as she is 18.

What family values? Whoever swallows that bit of malarky will swallow a live goat.

  • mary b:

Joe~ I am so sorry about Oslo!! I remember the ONLY Tornado we had in CT in 1979. My first child was only about a few months old. It had hit Windsor Locks, the Airport area. It had looked like a bomb had been dropped! We were only allowed into the area by the National Guard because we were driving a friend to work whose Company was in the same area!! We lived a few towns away, and all the clothes blew off the clothesline! (That’s something they don’t have here in the South~ A clothesline).
I hope that Oslo finds his way home.
    Keep the faith!!
Remember the dog from the Tornado in Alabama, he made it home with two front broken legs after two weeks!!
All the best to you and your Family.

  • The correct answer is all three! With the demise of Kurt Vonnegut and George Carlin, and Al Franken changing hats from author to senator, the left wing desperately needs an Ann Coulter. It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s got to do it!

  • jk:

Thanks for posting the link. It sounds like Sarah just endorsed a liberal. It reminds me of the donkey flag she wore during her VPOTUS run.

  • lilly lily:

Off to chair yoga, but have to mention that Sarah will most likely be saying God saved her” I am a Media Whore”, bus from the tornado which hit Mass.. The item in Australian papers? is that they ran out of gas and stopped for 30 minutes thereby avoiding the tornado which went across the highway they were traveling, and threw cars around.

I’m sure sanctimonious Sarah will be counting it as God’s will to save her as Americas very own Queen of the Tea Party. blah, blah, blah.

    LOL.

  • shandee:

So glad to hear about Oslo!

  • Lidia17:

    Great news about Oslo!

I have a feeling my dog must sense earthquakes that we can’t feel because sometimes he inexplicably feels the need to hide under our bed. Glad it worked out for you all…

  • Amazed:

Thanks for the update about Oslo. I check your blog often, but this time I came back specifically to see if he was OK. Glad to read good news!

  • Susan:

So glad to hear your side kick made it home. Hope his journey had a few bright moments and was not a
trek of terror. Good job Oslo! Joe, give that dog a bone.

  • lilly lily:

Maybe Oslo spotted the wicked witch of the West on her broomstick flying over Mass on her way to her hotel. Too bad dogs don’t talk.

It is more and more like the Wizard of Oz.

It will be interesting to see what alternative truth Palin spouts about doing her level best to upstage Mitt Romney. I have never seen her so eager to talk to random reporters.

    She usually runs.

  • Anne:

So happy about Oslo. Thoughts are still with the people of Massachusetts who have lost their homes and loved ones.

  • FrostyAK:

I know this is pretty far down the rabbit hole, conspiracy wise, but has anyone considered that BIG MONEY has paid off the media to follow along on her trail on this horror show of a road trip? The media (other than fox) is broke and probably buyable by any and all with big bucks.

Another way to think about this is that Gawd was telling Sarah in no uncertain terms that she is NOT his chosen. Sorry others were hurt and killed in that effort.

Glad you are okay, and that Oslo has returned. When I first heard the news this a.m., was a bit worried about my older than dirt Mom in RI.

  • Yay for Oslo! Screw Sarah!

  • curiouser:

I’m so glad Oslo is home and all your family is safe!

  • Deb:

From that pic, it doesn’t look like Oslo will be leaving home anytime soon. In fact, he looks like he will hide under a bed in a thunder/lightning storm. He appears to have a terrified look in his eyes.

He’s home for some special lovin’!!!

  • Tewise:

I am glad to hear Oslo made it home safely.

  • Jeanabella:

Thanks for letting us know Joe! He’s a handsome fellow too!

We’ve got a 16 year old mixed breed from the Shelter in Salem MA. Got most of our pets there. He’s like our baby.

Finished Baileys book and Dunns and am looking forward to your book in Sept.

  • Deb:

Many may have forgotten and are not connecting the dots of Palin and AK to AZ – Arizona Representative Paul Gosar (R-CD1) is the person who hired Thomas Van Flein as his legislative director and deputy chief of staff.

A second staff choice by Gosar is Rob Robinson of AK. “Robinson is a retired dentist who worked with Dr. Gosar on American Dental Association lobbying activities (and was Gosar’s campaign manager). Drilling down deeper, Robinson was heavily involved in politics in Wasilla, Alaska and introduced Wasilla’s best-known resident, Sarah Palin to Gosar. (Palin endorsed Gosar and he spoke highly of her.)”

“Thomas Van Flein is Gosar’s choice for legislative director and deputy chief of staff. Van Flein was in the national news in 2008 when he was Palin’s counsel in the so-called Troopergate incident. He is also the Palin’s family attorney and represents the Alaska Dental Society.”

    http://arizonaspolitics.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-arizona-rep-paul-gosar-hires.html

To see the coinsidence, which Palin does not believe in, of Gosar and Robinson involved in dentistry and Van Flein representing the Dental Society – it makes it a natural to tie in the AK Menard family ties to dentistry and Palin.

  • shandee:

Joe, Since you’re friends with Roger Ailes I was wondering your opinion of this article written by one of the faithful at C4P.

    http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/06/with-friends-like-fox-news-palin-is-better-off-with-her-enemies.html

  • Lisabeth:

I am so happy to hear that Oslo is ok. He is named after one of the nicest cities I have ever visited.

Joe and others, do you read Andrew Halcro’s blog? He has a great article today on Sarah Palin and her real record as governor. Pass it around people. He is a Republican!

    http://www.andrewhalcro.com/palin_4_prez_a_roadmap_for_opponents

  • lilly lily:

Well, it would make sense to make her so unhappy that she breaks her own contract and leaves. Hannity will always be looking up her skirt and salivating, and van susteran isn’t much different. But O’Rielly can’t stand her, and I wouldn’t be surprised that outside of Hannity and Greta everyone would breath a sigh of relief that she has left the building.

She thinks she is bigger than Elvis. Now I never was an Elvis fan, but HE was an icon in his time and for decades after.

Palin is for a limited run. A flash in the pan. She may not know it yet, but there are enough of us to make her run for POTUS an absolute misery.

Eventually she will break down emotionally. She is delerious with her attentions to the reporters chasing after her, she is scared, really scared now. The hick on the high wire is showing through the bravado and makeup.

  • msf:

Ann Coulter…argh…I wouldn’t wish that on anybody, but we do need some hard core lefties out there.

  • Lisabeth:

The article at Conservatives For Palin is hysterical and gives a lot of hints as to what is coming. Remember, nothing Sarah says is really true. So imagine what she has told this group. The C for P people don’t really get that maybe everyone else is right about Sarah except for them. I think they are the most brainwashed group of people I have ever seen. I also found it HYSTERICALLY FUNNY that they actually think Barack Obama is a puppet of George Soros’s. Where do they get this nonsense? I am just waiting for one of them to write here that yes, it is true….. Conservatives are obsessed with George Soros. Yes he gives a lot of money. Don’t they think they have people who give tons and have influence as well? Such is politics.
Joe, I hope you can address the C for P article about Fox when you get a chance. According to them, they are trying to get Sarah to quit because “she isn’t a puppet.” Isn’t it funny how no matter where Sarah goes, it never works out ? And you notice, it is never ever her fault, is it? It is always someone else’s fault, but she is perfect. There is a pattern here and if people can’t see it they are blind. You know a President can’t just do the H whatever they want. Sarah does seem to think that no rules apply to her and she can do what she wants no matter who it hurts or effects.

  • Marie:

Joe, I am so happy to hear Oslo found his way home and he is ok!

  • carollt:

Very glad to hear about Oslo. You should give that dog a big juicy steak, eh?

  • Freesia:

Oh. He’s home. 🙂 That’s some good news. I’m happy for you and your wife (and for him).

    He’s such a handsome boy.

  • Star:

    So happy Oslo is home…

  • ManxMamma:

    Great update!

  • deennaa:

Mr. McGinniss – I get a heartbreak when I hear about people’s pets that disappear in disaster conditions or any other conditions. That was great news that your Oslo is back at home safe and sound. I’ve got two rescue dogs and have had animal pets from early childhood. As I’m sure you know we Indians feel towards our fellow animals as “relatives” – revered and beloved. I’m sure you feel the same. They are so much more intelligent and psychic than we humans have a clue about. I DO believe in God and if he says he watches over a sparrow that falls to the ground, I believe it. I pray for all the innocents on the planet every night. Children and the Creator’s animals. If He/Creator did not love humans so much we would not have been given the GIFT of them.

I didn’t have a clue that Massachusetts had tornado’s! wow. I saw that video of it on the river there & was mesmerized. I was imagining myself on that bridge! I’ve lived through volcano eruptions and big earthquakes. And no matter what anyone says about our earthquakes in Alaska, you never get used to it. Its the condition of having absolutely no power over circumstances whatsoever and that is the biggest fear of us all. I’ve also experienced a forest fire and its unbelievably scary. Like in all natural disasters the feeling is to just RUN AWAY! I feel sad for anyone who loses their life in such conditions as your tornado – any disasters such.

sarah palin wouldn’t care if the sky fell in. She’d believe it was the “rapture”. Did she stop in Massachusetts for longer than a minute? She knows you live there I am sure so that would probably be her first consideration….

As much as I despise the creature she is, I wouldn’t wish her any sort of death dealing calamity, but I wish for her to be tarnished so badly and so deeply publicly, that she would never recover nor show her face again. I wish that she would be so exposed that her robotic followers would gasp in shock, turn on her and be publicly vocalized in unison on all our media’s (such as it is) with sneering derision, hideously scorned and denounced with finality as the fraudulent criminal conscienceless little beast that she truly is. Yeah, and I’m waiting for that day. I have hopes…STILL. Shockingly enough. Thanks for the space here and your time.

Oh, and one more thing: I REALLY want your book to let it all out – say in the manner of “Fatal Vision”. I really really do.

  • FEDUP!!!:

Well, the day is almost over, and $palin has NOT talked AT ALL about the tonado/tornado victims – even though she almost got into its way…

Good to hear that Oslo is alright! 😉

I learned something new today: It seems we all can open our own -PACs and use them for our own personal enrichment. I guess there is nothing ‘political’ about a ‘PAC’ after all…

  • Anon:

lilly lily, I think Greta has tired of her. The “thick skin-duck feathers” interview was the turning point in my opinion.

Joe, If you aren’t reading IM, please check this out. http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=9361564&postID=6300421337309010801
It seems there are either one or two local people in health care who are stating: a) that Trig was born in late Feb 08 and Sarah was not in the room and b) Trig has been utterly neglected in terms of the many therapies available to special needs/pre-term children that can help them catch up and/or reach their full potential.

  • Joe:

Anonymous people are free to say anything. That doesn’t make it true.
We don’t know who wrote that, or why. We don’t evenknow that these writers are actually
“in health care.” Just because they tell stories we’d love to accept as true doesn’t make them true.
