Walt Monegan tells more truth about Sarah Palin

In an interview with Alex De Marban of Alaska Newspapers, Inc., which publishes six regional weeklies, Walt Monegan, Alaska’s Director of Public Safety, whom Sarah fired in 2008 because he refused to dismiss her ex-brother-in-law, Mike Wooten, from the Alaska State Troopers, recounts the history of his interactions with her.

His bottom line: “If she would have said, ‘Walt, I don’t like your hair. You’re outta here,’ that would have made more sense.”

Sarah Palin fired Walt Monegan in an act of petulance and vindictiveness because he would not commit a wrong she insisted on.

I write in considerable detail about the Palin family campaign–in which Todd played a leading role–to have Mike Wooten fired from his state trooper job because he and Sarah’s sister, Molly, were in the midst of a bitter divorce.

Sarah’s abuses of power in her extended campaign to have Wooten’s head served to her and Todd on a silver platter created the scandal known as “Troopergate.”

As I write in THE ROGUE,

The Troopergate imbroglio is worth examining in detail because Sarah’s actions, and those of her husband on her behalf, expose so clearly the vengeful, obsessive nature of the person who lurks behind the mask of sexiness and chirpy insouciance.

And I’m not referring to Walt Monegan.

He doesn’t wear masks.

I also write:

Sarah said she’d fired Monegan because he’d displayed a “rogue mentality.” Sarah apparently felt that “going rogue” was acceptable only when she did it herself.

I got to know Walt and his wife, Terry, last summer. There are not two finer people in Alaska.

Over coffee in Eagle River one morning, Walt told me that Sarah “just thought she should be able to do anything she wanted to, and that anybody working for her had an obligation to help…Maybe she hadn’t realized there were limits on her power. Maybe she thought being governor meant she could do anything she wanted to anyone. I loved my job and I’m sorry she took it from me, but I’ve never had a moment’s doubt about what I did.”

Walt Monegan combines intelligence, dedication and integrity to a degree that makes him very special.

Although he grew increasingly disillusioned, he remained loyal to Sarah Palin until she and Todd pressured him to betray his principles: something he would not do.

In her petulance and vengefulness, Sarah deprived the state of Alaska of the services of a remarkable man.

You can read much more about Walt Monegan in THE ROGUE.

I’m curious Joe, were you able or did you consider getting your hands on Molly’s divorce and custody case file? I’m willing to bet there is a ton of information to be had there. Only problem is you have to physically walk into the court house and request the file, there is only a skeletal on-line profile of the case. The hard file likely had a custody investigation report which might make for interesting reading on the actions of the extended family which the judge admonished.

  • Olivia:

Without a doubt, Sarah thinks there are no limits to her power in whatever position she holds. This is really scary, even more than Nixon like thinking. This woman is not only an idiot, she is mentally ill. Watch carefully her projection in regard to Obama. Everything she falsely accuses him of, she is either guilty of or prepared to do.

  • KiteGirl:

Never forget, when Palin fired Mr. Monegan, she replaced him with uber Christianist Chuck “They’ll never find a record of sexual harrassment in MY records” Kopp. It only cost us Alaskans Mr. Monegan and at least $10,000.00 in severance pay for Kopp.
Palin also appointed Kopp to the Alaska Judicial Council. Alan Borass wrote a great piece for ADN about the Kopp appointment to Monegan’s position being part of Palin “earning her bones” for the Franklin Graham/fundy Christianists group.
They are all very Christ-like, eh?
    Love your posts, Joe.
    Thanks for all you do.

  • Joe:

The bible I read told me Jesus gave, he didn’t take.

But what’s a measly 10K? Sarah gave $500 million of state money to Trans-Canada for a doomed gasline project designed only to boost her reputation.

Thank you for reading and commenting,

    –Joe

  • Scorpie:

Sheesh! She really is a ‘piece of work’. My hubby and younger son both think she is a joke and we shouldn’t worry about her. Me~not so sure.

  • Oh Joe its been awhile….I sure liked Geoffery Dunns book Sarah Palin the Untold Lies.. When is your book coming out? I am praying that SP does not get very many more 15 minute sessions. Was alittle disappointed
I didn’t see my favorite comment any where in any of the talk about her ( she wears that bitch bump pretty hight on her head)..Come on back by the house again soon, hope you liked the haircut? Talk to real soon.

  • B:

I had not realized until I read Dunn’s book that Sarah committed Troopergate not long before the RNC and when she knew she was being considered for McCain’s running mate. I had assumed she acted badly when she thought only Alaskans, if that, were watching her, and then it blew up when she hit the national stage. But she did it knowing full well she might be on the national stage.

Yet another narcissistic “I can’t believe she did that” moment. I’m reminded again of the Alaskan I heard on NPR in 2008 who said that she was “terminally pretty,” like the song lyric, accustomed to getting her way, not accustomed to having to account for her behavior. After all, that summer she still thought she had pulled off a fake pregnancy. Firing Monegan for not firing Wooten was small potatoes compared to Babygate.

  • Joe:

    Corky–
How great to hear from you! Since we’re on a public comment page, let me introduce you: Corky Wheeler is the wife of Gary Wheeler, who was chief of security for Sarah
when she was governor. I can’t reveal any of the things Gary told me–if I said it here, why bother publishing the book?–but there’s some red meat there for those convinced that Sarah did not give birth to Trig. Gary and Corky Wheeler, like Walt and Terry Monegan, are true Alaskans (i.e. they tell the truth.) Corky works as a hair stylist in Eagle River, and gave me the
    best haircut I’ve ever had.

Corky, I expect to be back in Alaska on or about September 27 and my first stop will be at your place of business for a trim.

I thought Jeff Dunn’s book was terrific. He’s become a great friend. THE ROGUE will be published Sept. 20. But you and Gary are on the list for
a free copy, so don’t go ordering it on amazon.

  • ginger50:

Sarah is uncomfortable with people of integrity like Walt Monehan. She is completely intimidated by someone who stands their ground for what is right and therefore has to get rid of them. I am still confused why she did not receive much consequence for this most offensive, unethical firing of Walt.

  • Lisabeth:

Sarah obviously doesn’t give a DAMN about anyone but herself.
She destroys others and never gives it any thought.

Sarah is a sick manipulative sociopath! Yet go look at CNN, Huffington, CBS ( all of them, any of them) and she is treated as if she is a serious leader! Media damn, get a clue about Sarahs pathology! It’s insane.

  • Joe:

Yes, but her firing of Walt Monegan is demonstrable fact.

“Babygate” remains in the realm of surmise.

I’m heading for jury duty soon, which reminds me that in a courtroom–unlike on the internet–there are rules of evidence. In a civil action, the jury must find that “the preponderance of evidence” weighs against the defendant. In a criminal trial, guilt must be proven “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

While Sarah faking the Trig pregnancy and birth might not technically be a criminal offense under the law, it certainly would be a morally criminal offense–given how she used the poor child politically– against the citizens of the USA.

That’s why I feel that until her guilt in that area is proven beyond a reasonable doubt she is entitled to the presumption of innocence.

Which is not to say I believe her story. Trust me, I delve deeply into this in THE ROGUE.

  • WakeUpAmerica:

Minor point, but isn’t it spelled “Geoff?”

  • Cracklin' Charlie:

    Scorpie,

I am not worried so much about $arah, she is a clown. I am worried about whoever is backing her. Because she does have backers. And they expect her to pay them back, that is how it works.

  • SondraTompkins:

    Sarah is a COWARD.

She didn’t actually fire Walt Monegan, she had her Chief of Staff do it. Sarah was in Philadelphia promoting herself.

BTW, while you’re in Anchorage this September, Joe, stop by and see my husband for a visit. Guaranteed you’ll get the best colonscopy one could ever wish for. He’ll even play your preferred music during the procedure. He takes requests. 😉

  • zenna:

‘Babygate’ could very well be a crime if improper activities involving disclosure, taxes and insurance fraud – among other things – occurred.

  • msf:

Of all the dastardly things Palin has done….firing Walt IMHO took the cake. With all the dust up going on about Schwarzenegger in the last few days……it makes me very hopeful that the Palins will get their due.

  • Joe:

Thanks, but I just had one.

    –Joe

  • Joe:

Actually, it’s not. Geoffrey Dunn is “Jeff.” I don’t know why, but he feels strongly about it.

    –Joe (aka “Geoe”)

  • BluedogAK:

I am so glad to hear that your book delves into Troopergate. When that story started breaking, a helpful blogger posted copies of the original troopers’ reports investigating the claims the Palin/Heaths made against Wooten. It was fascinating to read and showed in black and white what an obsessive, vindictive bunch those people are. (Some of the documents are still available here: )

Looking back, you can see everything we now know about Sarah revealed in those documents. My very favorite complaint was when she and her sister claimed that Wooten had tried to use his position to get out of paying a $5 fine for an unsecured load. The troopers duly investigated and interviewed the man, who said that, no, Wooten had not tried to wield his position as a trooper unfairly and had not sworn at him. That was the kind of useless crap that Palin and her sister bothered the troopers with as part of their vendetta.

She does the same sort of thing now, only she has set her mean little sights higher. If she could tweet something nasty about the way President Obama takes out the trash, she would.

  • Rach:

I think we read the same book!

  • Sharon_Too_Also:

    Joe,

So far every time you’ve given a little teaser tidbit from the book, you’ve also given us a new description of her and damned if they aren’t right on. Chirpy insouciance. Indeed.

  • krbmjb05:

Exactly….just like the last “Bushie”, someone more sinister, powerful and evil is pulling her strings. She’s not smart enough herself. She’s the perfect talking head who those men will have no qualms about letting her go up in flames if they have to save their flabby, white asses!

  • curiouser:

Sarah likely believed being elected VP would give her the power to make Troopergate and any other wrongdoing go away. Instead, she returned to AK defeated and not knowing if the legislature would investigate the discrepancies between the Branchflower and Petumenos investigations. Possible perjury? Impeachment? We might have forgotten her name by now.

  • curiouser:

I love the peaks we’re getting into the pages of The Rogue. 123-1/2 days to go.

  • Sarah HalfTime:

Face it, The Quitter wasn’t engaged in governing. According to the interview with Walt, Sowah didn’t even meet with her own hand picked Commissioners, on a regular basis.

Alaska’s Shame didn’t bother to engage in the issues facing Alaska.

It That Quit could careless about public policy.

As Mayor of Wasilla, the City Council approved hiring a City Manager because Sowah wasn’t engaged enough. Ah, this was a city of less than 5,000 people.

Walt is a good egg. He likes public policy, making a difference, quietly. He has solutions or works towards solutions.

The skank changed her story on why she fired him, that I do remember.

Good grief, Sarah Palin is ignorant human.

You hardly see her face around Wasilla anymore. Nor do you see Todd or the kids.
Must be all those Worst Govenor Ever signs.
And Todd should know there are a few of those WGE signs in Dillingham.

  • Cracklin' Charlie:

They won’t just let her go up in flames, they are sending her into the flames. They will then have her stoke the flames on herself. She will end up a smoldering pile of carbon on the ash heap of history. And this they know already. Truly. Evil. Individuals.

  • Debby:

Am feeling a bit worried tonight. I just read a piece about Mrs. Palin, in essence warning us that, due to the way the field is shaping up, she could very easily win the Republican nomination. And that even though she would likely be defeated by President Obama, her candidacy would be damaging to the country.
My mother has been telling me since November 2008 that I didn’t need to worry about Sarah Palin anymore. It seems to me that is definitely not the case. I’m reading Geoffrey Dunn’s book at the moment and am looking forward to your book Joe. I keep hoping that I’m going to wake up one day and see that Mrs. Palin has finally been put in her place. But is just hasn’t happened. The nightmare keeps going.
I love reading your pieces Joe! They’re not snarky, vindictive, or overtly political. I have stumbled onto a couple of very conservative, right-wing sites lately (TOTALLY by accident) and by the time I figured it out (after reading all of these glowing posts about Mrs. P.) I couldn’t hit the “close current tab” button fast enough. I was afraid I’d be infected.
Anyway…I guess this was sort of O/T, but I just wanted to say thank you and I appreciate what you are doing!

  • Ailsa:

I’m very much with you on this one, Joe. Having a legal background, I tend to look at evidence from the perspective of would it stand up in a court of law. Unlike writing a book where the author creates his own structure, the rules of evidence and procedure,in effect, create a structure for the narrative. In each case, the structure guides the way in which the story unfolds and dictates what is included or excluded.

I’m not too sure that thinking about the pregnancy or non-pregnancy from a *legal* perspective makes the best sense, but it is the thing that stops me from being 100% certain a hoax was committed. I do think there are many reasons to be strongly suspicious, for questions to continue to be raised and evidence sought. However, where the presumption is that a person is innocent until proven guilty, the standard must be that no other logical explanation can be derived from the facts except that Sarah Palin was not pregnant with Trig. If I found myself having to defend her – perish the thought – as of this moment, I am confident I could demonstrate reasonable doubt.

I wish that wasn’t so and I hope it will not always be so. And I really hope it will not be so very soon.

  • Joe, Walt Monegan is one of the finest people I’ve met. – Tom

  • Joe:

Thank you, Debby. I worked hard to be sure my book would not be snarky or vindictive. (Although I’m sure some right-wing critics will call it both, and worse.)

As for “overtly political” it depends on whether or not you think Sarah Palin represents the Republican party.

Don’t worry about infection: decency, intelligence and common sense are effective vaccines.

    I appreciate your comment.

Joe, how do you think this would go over in a courtroom?:

(comment by someone at Politicalgates or the IM, I’m *really* sorry I did not take down the commenter’s name, but the comment was so good I saved it!)

    ================
It’s when you realize that Sarah was in her mid forties when pregnancy is already so rare, AND that she’d had a tubal ligation (if it can be confirmed, and frankly the story of her whining about it for weeks sounds spot on to me), AND that there’s no mention in her official schedule about MD visits for prenatal care, OR time off to recover from the amniocentesis to which she drove herself AND sneaked in under an assumed name- query: why? Did she think the networks were going to storm the clinic?- AND that they recommend rest for a couple of days after the amnio, AND that she claims an amnio even though she’s officially prolife, AND that she didn’t tell her own children she was pregnant, AND that she didn’t “show” for months and months, AND when she announced her “pregnancy” it was widely denounced as impossible owing to her slenderness, AND that women tend to get bigger with each pregnancy, not smaller, AND when she did “show” it was now square, now round, now big, now flat, AND despite the fact that she wore flats and had the real pregnant swayback in earlier pregnancies she kept her spike heels and had no change in posture, AND that she continued flying after it was recommended that pregnant women not, AND that she chose to leave her security behind when she normally would have had them along, AND that she went into an invisible labor for 20 hours before the baby arrived AND didn’t have any hesitation in speaking before a lunch crowd (who would probably have tossed their cookies at a real amniotic gush in front of them!) while having “big contractions” in her fifth labor and seventh pregnancy, AND then didn’t go to a hospital for checking before taking a 10 hour flight home that Todd had arranged to be earlier than planned even though there was no change in her schedule, AND that professionals whose job it was to ensure that passengers were safely belted in regardless of girth didn’t notice the existence of the pregnancy AND a person who saw her during the Seattle layover didn’t know anything was going on AND then the miraculous baby was induced AND it was her easiest labor ever AND appeared with a hole in his heart but was able to go home almost immediately despite the fact that he was five weeks, no eight weeks premature and weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces AND managed to be born at two separate geographical locations AND his Down syndrome was immediately noticed by the keen-eyed Willow despite the fact that it takes training and occasionally a DNA test to confirm Down syndrome by actual medical professionals… AND all of this went on after Wasilla knew that Bristol was pregnant and she was sent to live with an aunt who had small children of her own and the aunt has confirmed that Bristol stayed with her and went to school which couldn’t have been the 2008 pregnancy since she wasn’t in school for that but it was acknowledged that Bristol pulled out of Wasilla High for part of the 2007/2008 school year… in other words when SOMEONE was pregnant with Trig… just ask Chuck, he was there when Trig popped out despite showing up several hours after the time of birth. (For all I know, maybe he turned himself into a bat and a shadow and slipped through a crack in the hospital door!) and Chuck’s first answer to hearing the story that Sarah wasn’t believed to be the birth mother wasn’t, “That’s crazy” but “How can you prove that?” I can see somebody who hasn’t paid attention saying, “Well it IS possible to get pregnant after a tubal ligation… they ALWAYS tell you that..” and that’s true. I’ve had a tubal ligation. I don’t know how they’re often done now because I had mine 30 years ago, but my doctor explained to me that cauterizing the tubes (as Sarah allegedly claimed) and redirecting them elsewhere in the pelivic area, significantly reduces the already very low risk- but the risk exists. But when you put together ALL the different stories she’s told about this pregnancy, when you look at her own story on record, the weirdness factor increases exponentially. There’s way too much weirdness. I can allow for one or two coincidences; unlike Sarah, I do believe in the occasional coincident. The Universe is not only stranger than we know but stranger than we CAN know- h/t to whoever said that first. So I could buy a couple of items from this story…. but not all of it. Not all put together like that.

Interesting, too, that she never talks about his accomplishments and what developmental markers he’s reached. Trig was good enough to wave in front of the special-needs crowd and pander to their votes- because she evidently considers them stupid enough not to look at her record, but it doesn’t mean she does anything for children with special needs. She’s grudged them $1000 of other people’s money and a couple of appearances- but she still tells the Wild Ride despite the fact that it’s been three years. What is Trig doing now? How often does he see his therapists? How much time does he spend in therapy every day? How come he never wears his glasses? The whole Trig question brings up the baby-swapping and the heavily sleeping/never crying baby of the campaign, too. The mysteriously deformed ear, the story of Bristol drinking and smoking while obviously pregnant, the Ruffles picture compared and contrasted with the sturdy, plump infant in the picture of Chuck and Sally.

    ===========
Lidia here again. Joe, I just finished your book, Blind Faith. The final scenes in the courtroom really have that same sense of inevitability of conclusion as does the aggregate of Sarah’s insane claims, when you put all the factors in one place (I’m sure there are even some missing, above).

In the Marshall case, there were trails left by phone calls and payments, sure. But here we have not only the photos (the photos are extremely clear, especially the difference from April 8/9 to April 13), but evidence from the e-mails, like “strategy to deal with Trig’s birth”. (Why would they have needed a “strategy”?) What about the official agenda that either a.) scheduled Trig’s birth ahead of time or b.) listed events that didn’t happen. Who made those entries? I could go on and on.

Really, I think if this were put before a jury, it would be hard to claim a reasonable doubt that Palin faked her pregnancy. Imagine if there were a family out there complaining that they were missing a DS child. DNA aside, do you think, with this same evidence, Palin could not be convicted of having stolen Tri-G? I’m just hypothesizing here… I’m wondering whether the lack of a clear-cut “crime” might actually be leading people to undervalue existing evidence.

  • grammy11:

I am not an attorney either but I would be on a prosecutor’s side when he showed hundreds of pregnant women in their 7th month of pregnancy and no one would show a flat belly EXCEPT Sarah Palin. (And by the way, abs are not anywhere near the uterus where a fetus is formed.) Her masseuse would take the stand and say that she massaged her stomach area 4 weeks before the shocking announcement of Tripp’s birth and felt no symptom of a pregnancy. That is enough for me to prove she is not the biological mother of Tripp.

  • B:

Just saying that after having pulled off a fake pregnancy and birth, she felt emboldened. If she could do that, she could do anything. Like when Scarlett shot the Yankee soldier at Tara and said that now that she had “done murder” she could do anything.

  • B:

Exactly. The Troopergate case is clear cut, but the Babygate case is still provable. Palin’s small misshapen bellies qyualify as preponderance of the evidence, but her flat bellies are beyond a reasonable doubt.

Every piece of evidence Palin has presented can be explained another way–empathy belly, adopted child, etc.–with the possible exception of CBJ’s letter, and that is likely to be resolved in a deposition or courtroom with the good doctor under oath.

On the other hand, there is NO other explanation for the flat belly in the pencil skirt in the ADN photo within a month of delivering a 6 lb. baby and having enough amniotic fluid that some could leak. Beyond a reasonable doubt.

The closing argument backs up the flat belllies (at least two pictures) with the up and then down again sizing of her supposedly pregnant belly, and the probability that at least a dozen very low probability events ALL happened for Palin’s story to be true (see Lydia17’s comment below), and you have beyond beyond a reasonable doubt.

I am still waiting for a single piece of evidence, other than perhaps CBJ’s letter, that cannot be explained away without any more effort than a Google search. I’m with Grammy11: the ADN flat belly photo is the smoking gun that wins the case beyond a reasonable doubt..

  • Flying Pig Ranch:

Could that be the reason that SP calls the media lame? She claims to be a journalist and knows media has done a really poor job reporting on her. Perhaps she really knows she is a festering zit under all of that heavy makeup? She has all of the substance of a dog’s squeak toy and the media has used her for entertainment and ratings.

  • grammy11:

I think you’ve covered it very well except when you said she paraded Trig for votes. She also did it for money. Instead of contributing money (except for the Pac money in a small amount) for disabled kids, she used the organizations for a huge fee and all expenses for her family and friends. I firmly believe she should be called on Babygate.

  • Karen:

@Lidia 17, thank you for posting that “suspending your disbelief” montage. Glad you saved it and posted. Best laugh I’ve had all week!

  • KatieAnnieOakley:

Just as with Drew Peterson, there is STRONG CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence of her committing Babygate.

But, is it criminal? Not yet, unlike Drew Peterson’s case… not until the entire story comes out. But a whole lot of “strange things” tend to happen regarding anything Palin touches… and like $arah herself says: “There are no coincidences…”

  • crystalwolfakacaligrl:

One thing that stands out in “Babygate” is she couldn’t of had TriG at Mat-Su Regional hospital. Using her own words from Going Rogue you can make a case that he would of have to be born at a hospital with a NICU ie: Anchorage.
And Bailey makes a point that he saw Bristol right after TriG’s Birth…and she didn’t look like she just gave birth, well of course not, since she gave birth mos previous. Mat-su was the hand off of TriG.
There needs to be a investigation into the hospital, CBJ, ADN and everything SOA! Insurance Fraud? Troopergate?
The list goes on & on.
There is no excuse to let her even think about running for anyTHING until all these things have been investigated.

  • Sharon TN:

Wonder if Trig is enrolled in pre-school, or some learning setting where he can mingle with other children
rather than being limited to associating only with family. He’s 3 yrs. old, so if he isn’t, what are the Palins’ waiting for? Of course, any public program would require the ‘dreaded’ birth certificate be presented
& that they have been loathe to do. If he’s receiving in-home tutoring/therapy etc., instead, it may
be another indication there’s a problem with the BC. Sarah can’t take the chance of having outsiders
seeing it. Miserly as the Palins are, it may be worth their selfish while to pay private turors – no BC required.
And the heck with what is best for little Trig, because it’s Sarah’s reputation that counts, right?

  • Brad Scharlott:

The problem of finding Palin guilty of the babygate hoax in the “court of public opinion” has been the refusal of virtually the entire mainstream press to touch the subject over the last three years. That’s why I wrote my “Spiral of Silence” paper in the vein of a magazine expose, not a traditional research paper. Then I tried to find a magazine or newspaper that would publish it, but no takers. Therefore I let the student newspaper at my university post it online.

So I hope my paper has made a little dent in public knowledge about the issue. And Laura Sullivan’s inspired interviews are also having some effect, I think. Of course Andrew Sullivan is in a league of his own in keeping the story alive. And the “blogosphere investigators,” some of whom posted above, have played a great, undocumented role in all this.

But Joe, if you can’t bust the story wide open for the public at large, I don’t know if anyone can. Your reputation, not to mention your superb writing skills, make your book our best hope. You’ve never lacked courage. So be bold as you write that last chapter. You may trigger an avalanche that brings justice to Palin in the court of public opinion.

  • Mrs. Tarquin Biscuitbarrel:

That’s a terrific analogy! However, Scarlett ACTUALLY DID shoot that Yankee soldier (okay, it was fiction, but still…). And she actually did pick the cotton that the Yankees burned up on their return trip. And that dress the O’Hara family crafted from “Miss Ellen’s portieres” looks a LOT better than anything $P wears.

Betcha ten bucks that $P has never heard of GWTW. Betcha!

  • Lidia17:

Brad, you are so right. People are amazingly in thrall to the corporate media; when I talk about Babygate, the main reason they think I’m nuts isn’t because SP did such an unthinkable thing… no, they know she’s crazy… Instead, I get dismissed out of hand because—if she had done this—”why haven’t we heard about it?”

ARRGH. I just can’t wrap my head around the vastness of this!

People ASSUME “the media” are going to report on things!
Even the least centrist among us assume that “their side” will report on the sins of the “others”. We know that FOX isn’t going to report on torture and WMDs, but they’ll jump all over Clinton’s affairs and business dealings. “Mother Jones” will give Clinton a pass, and report on Bush.

In the aggregate, we’re assuming that, somewhere, SOMEbody is minding the store, and that the necessary information will be out there if we need it, even if we don’t agree with the messenger or appreciate the spin.

    But it’s all a lie.

  • B:

You meant Laura Novak, I think. And you’re right that we’re counting on Joe.

  • B:

And just like Prissy, the MSM Babygate deniers don’t “know nothin’ ’bout birthin’ babies!”

Actually, Palin should have read GWTW. Lots of lessons there. Scarlett could dress up in velvet curtains but her hands still gave away her circumstances to Rhett. The Devil was in the Details.
